Early morning, I went to the market to look for some ingredients for our Sunday lunch. I want to cook some seafoods today. In my search for fresh seafoods, I found some fresh clams from my suki fish vendor. I also got some fresh tawilis, which i plan to fry until crispylicious!
When i got home, I soaked the clams in salted water and some flour to get rid of the dirt. I still followed the cleaning process for these clams, even though they are look clean. I just want to make sure it has expelled all the dirt. I chopped some ginger, onions, garlic.
After a few hours, i rinsed the clams thoroughly under running water. Placed them in a small pot with water and let it boil until all clams opened. I removed them from fire, and separated the clams from the liquid. I disregard the clams that didn't open and the empty shells.
I sauteed ginger in olive oil , then added onions until cooked. Lastly , I added the garlic until soft. Added the clams , covering them with the oil mixture . Pour in the clam liquid , let it boil. Then , add some white wine which I don't have , I used Korean rice wine, which has a sweet taste. Let it boil, until the amount of liquid has reduced to half. Add some butter to the sauce, lower the fire.
While making the sauce, i have a pot of boiling water for the pasta. Don't forget to add salt to the water. Once it starts to boil , add the pasta noodles until almost done. Drain the pasta. Add the pasta to the clam mixture. Let the pasta cook until aldente in the sauce. Add chopped parsley. Which again, i don't have, i used chopped spring onions.

I also cooked chicken adobo for my brother's family.
I mix water, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce with the chopped chicken, bay leaf, sugar and chopped garlic. Let it boil until liquid is reduced to half. I removed the chicken liquid, I add a little oil from the mix to saute some garlic. Saute the chicken with the garlic, when chicken is brown add the chicken liquid again. Let it boil. I add some liver spread. Mix Mix then remove from fire.
