The Peacock Garden Resort and Spa

From Baclayon church , I took a habal habal to the Peacock Garden Resort and Spa. It was a 15 to 20 minutes ride, but I asked the driver to go slower because it was drizzling. 

This is the view when you enter the gate.Motorbikes are not allowed inside : ( .  There's a 500 pesos entrance fee which is consumable if you are not guess. 

                                           As I went in further the super spacious resort, I first saw this building

My Zaru soba version.

I was at my favorite Japanese store, and there was a Filipina who helped me undestand the labels of items .  She even taught me the items needed for my zaru soba.

The following day, i excitedly made one of my favorite japanese dish. I poured the sauce in a small bowl, chopped green onions mixed it. I boiled my soba noodles, rinsed it thoroughly and chilled it.

After a few hours it was ready !!!

I dunk the noodles into the sauce, slurped  it....Yikes!!!! It was Tooo Salty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The lady forgot to tell me that i need to dilute the sauce and mix it with a little sugar. I forgot the wasabi and quail egg too.. huhuhu.

Next time, i will follow the recipe i got i the net.

Comfort food 1

                       Thinking what to eat for breakfast , this sleepy sunday morning.  This is what i made.

 fried eggplant, mushroom,chinese sausage, shrimps in black pepper sauce.

Yummy!!!!!!
